Eckelkamp was previously using QuickBooks to manage financials, but then transitioned to NetSuite. This move created the need for a NetSuite-integrated property management solution to manage tenancies with consolidated accounting.

Our Solution

Folio3 deployed Propertese Advanced on NetSuite, customized (with the option for future enhancements) for Eckelkamp’s tenancy and property management requirements.

Core functionalities implemented

  • Tenancy contract management.
  • KYC process for applicants.

  • Set up across 10 subsidiaries within one NetSuite account.​

Propertese originally allowed users to create a Vendor Bill against a Unit, but Eckelkamp required an enhancement to also create a Vendor Bill against a Property, which the Folio3 team successfully developed and implemented. In addition, the system was enhanced to give users the flexibility to adjust recurring item amounts—such as Operating Expenses or Additional Charges—either by a specific amount or by percentage. Furthermore, users were provided with the ability to add one or more new recurring charge items to an already active lease, effective from the next due date.
